The Effects of Artificial Reefs on Invasive Tunicates
I designed and conducted an experiment that tested the effects of artificial reefs and invasive tunicates. I disassembled and documented the species found on the plates. After collecting and sorting the plates we took pictures of them and ran them through a program called "Coral Point Count". After analyzing the plates we determined that invasive tunicates were a lot more common next to artificial reef structures.
